If you ever get the opportunity to fly in a glider, TAKE IT! Let me tell you, gliding (or soaring) is the most beautiful thing I have ever done! Once you let go of the tow plane, everything gets quiet and you just sail through the sky. It’s probably the closest you’ll ever feel to being an eagle soaring on the wind!

This particular glider is the DG Flugzeugbau DG-1000. You can get it with a retractable engine so that you can launch yourself and then glide back to earth.
